A CITY University student is inviting families to share their special memories for an online Islington history project. Daniel Parker is asking people to visit Islington Museum, in St John Street, Finsbury, on Saturday, February 26 between 10am and 5pm, with a family member and an object that will help them recall a special memory. The interviews with families from Islington will be recorded for a website which aims to revive the history of the borough. We are still looking for participants for our February 26th event, "Islington Family History Day", held at the Islington Museum from 10am - 5pm, sponsored by ITV Fixers. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to drop on by; if you're interested and want to learn more about the event, please send us an email - ourstoryislington@gmail.com - or leave a message on the blog.

If you know you're coming and want to sign up for a recording slot, please email us with the information from the form below. We have 30 minute time slots, from 10:30am until 4:30pm. Remember that the stories only have to be 5-10 minutes long (the time slots are longer, so you don't feel rushed). Look forward to seeing you on Saturday, Feb. 26th.
